"Preparation was the key to my success."

Preparing myself for Trial

The idea of going to Trial was overwhelming at first.  So I watched a courtroom movie to relax:
My Cousin Vinny, A Civil Action, and Erin Brockovich are good ones. They focused and inspired me... plus I learned a few things!

Next I organized my supporting evidence, and made sure any photos, maps, or diagrams were at least size 8x10 or larger.

I wrote down the Objections I planned to use during the Officer's Direct Examination.

I wrote down questions I was going to ask the Officer during Cross-Examination.

I made a cheat sheet of Laws and Court Rules that would help my case.

My Trial Strategy

Challenge the Officer with Objections and Cross-Examination questions

Challenge their evidence with Objections

Support my case with evidence

Support my case with Laws and Rules of Court
