"I focused on the details of my case."
I wrote down everything I remembered from the stop.
What the officer(s) said
Anything I or my passengers said
Number of passengers in the vehicle
Driver/Passengers clothing - color, etc.
Where I was when I got clocked
How much traffic was around
Where I got pulled over
Weather conditions
I went back to where I got pulled over, took pictures, and made some notes about the road.
Are there businesses, homes, or a school along the road?
Uphill or downhill?
Straight or curved?
What are the road names or route numbers?
What is the direction of traffic, how many lanes, etc.?

Speed Limit Signs
Where are they?
What do they say?
Are they clearly visible?
Are they even there?
Was it possible I didn't pass by the signs?

Obstructions
Where was the patrol vehicle and what was the officer's line of sight?
Are there buildings, fences, walls, trees, bushes, signs, guard rails, or anything else that would block, weaken, or reflect a radar signal?
